Business Central consulting, development and AI

Three practices that share one codebase.

Business Central is the anchor. Bespoke development is how we cover the gaps the standard application leaves. AI is how we take the manual work back out. Most engagements touch at least two of the three, which is the point of keeping them under one roof.

The shape of an engagement

One team, not three vendors

The reason these three sit together is that separating them creates the exact problem most of our clients call about. A functional consultant scopes something, a development shop builds it without understanding the posting implications, and an AI vendor later bolts a chatbot onto a data model nobody explained to them. Three invoices, three roadmaps, and an integration nobody owns.

We keep the same people across all three. The person writing the AL extension understands why the finance team needs that posting group behavior, and the person configuring the AI assistant already knows the table structure because they built it.

What that looks like on a real engagement
  • One consultant scopes the work and stays on it through delivery.
  • The extension and the automation are written against the same data model, by people who already know it.
  • One roadmap and one point of contact, so nothing falls into the gap between suppliers.
  • Documentation of the environment and the decisions leaves with you at the end.

The practices

What each practice covers

Business Central is where most of our hours go. Bespoke development and AI exist because the standard application does not reach everywhere, and because a fair amount of what your people do by hand does not need a person doing it.

Practice 02

Bespoke development

We build modules. AL extensions written to AppSource standards, whether or not they are ever published there. Integrations and API work between BC and warehouse systems, e-commerce, payment providers, shop floor equipment and everything else that has to talk to the ERP. Reporting and analytics work where the standard reports fall short.

Several of the team are full stack developers, so the practice is not limited to what can be built inside the ERP. Customer and supplier portals, internal web applications and mobile-friendly screens for shop floor or field use get built as complete software, front end through back end through database through deployment, and then wired back into Business Central.

  • AL extensions and AppSource-standard apps
  • Integrations and API work
  • Full stack web applications and portals
  • Reporting and analytics beyond the standard set

Practice 03

AI solutions

Applied AI, scoped to specific workflows and measured on time saved. Assistants that answer plain questions against live BC data. Document intake that reads incoming paperwork and drafts the BC record. Chatbot front ends for the routine ERP tasks nobody wants to open the client for. Agentic automation for the matching, chasing and exception handling that currently occupies a person's afternoon. Everything runs against your permissions and leaves an audit trail.

  • Assistants over live Business Central data
  • Document and OCR intake into BC
  • Chatbot front ends for routine tasks
  • Agentic workflow automation

Working with us

Four ways this usually starts

Whichever of these you pick, the people in the first conversation are the people who do the work. There is no handoff to a delivery team you have not met.

  1. 01

    Assessment

A fixed-scope review of your environment, code and pain list, ending in a prioritized written plan. Useful even if you never hire us for the fix.

  2. 02

    Project

Scoped work with a defined outcome. Migration, module build, integration, upgrade remediation.

  3. 03

    Support retainer

A block of hours a month with named consultants who already know your system, so nothing starts with re-explaining your business.

  4. 04

    Partner augmentation

Senior BC resource embedded in a Microsoft Partner's team, under their PM and their brand.

Who you deal with

The consultant who scopes the work is the consultant who does it. No account manager layer.

Where we work

Cloud, on-premises or hybrid Business Central, plus Dynamics NAV environments waiting to move.

Who we work for

End users running BC day to day, and Microsoft Partners who need senior BC resource on a project.

What you keep

Source, repository access and written documentation of the environment and the decisions behind it.

Next step

Not sure which of these you need

Describe the situation and we will tell you which practice it belongs in, or that it belongs somewhere else entirely. That conversation is free and it is not a sales sequence.
